Carolina Jessamine Question

I purchased a nice sized C. Jessamine vine. I would like to split it up and pot it in 2 large 'trough' style pots on either end of my free standing arch trellis. I'm renting --so I am not digging up the landlord's soil, but doing most of my gardening in containers this year.

Here is my question--I would like the jessamine to just grow up both sides of the trellis and then I plan to plant annual flowering vines in the same containers-- morning glory, maybe some Kentucky wonder beans too, and other things--moon flower, sweet pea.

does this sound like it would work?

I thought if there is room I'd put some wave style petunias or allysum or something at the bottoms of the vines so it would hang over the containers and have color all summer.

I can move the arch to sun, or part shade--- which is best.. any tips or ideas? better ideas?? Mary
