Well there are a few other things blooming and plants like the Elephant Ear that knocks me of my rocker and I love to share that with you all.

Sawn you are so kind. Obviously you have not looked at my grass lol. Otherwise you would not have said EVERYTHING hahahahahahahahahaha joke. Thank you. They are all from seed sprout that have been blooming and that is why I am double sad about the news that they are closing.

Lol, I will stop coloring too when it all gets one color. I just have this big black patch in the back. They found something on the cat scan last night they need to do an MRI and get a closer look at it near the pituitary gland in his brain. I have been so worried I am exhausted. I couldn't even tell what I was trying to say in that last post. He is still very tired too. I hope we can still go this weekend but waiting to hear from the doctor if its ok or not and see how we are both feeling. He is in denial of course and outside working in the heat so I am watching him close and making him come in for breaks and drink water. I think he had heat exhaustion He passed out and had a siezure. Sure wish the ER doctor had told me more before she ran off and left. My sister's daughter in Georgia just had a baby and they had to remove her gallbladder this morning so she might be able to come either. Whats that song about if it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all? Lol, things will get better. Just soooo tired.

Thanks HOng, I havent fed the EE regularly as I should have, actually not at all. It is planted in half composted manure, and half household compost, topped off with sand. Thank you GG :) O if you could only smell that rose! You have to put it right up to your nose to get the scent, but its really nice. Then again, I think something is wrong with my sniffer, I have to get closer than most people it seems. So maybe to others the scent is stronger..o, does it matter? lol. It still has a great scent :)

Tally IS my name, it's my real name, not short for anything, not a nickname. I sign Tally HO! cause it's easy to remember. I do love this plant. It blooms twice a year for us. And it smells great. Planted one in my moms yard also. We're about 10-15 degrees colder than usual this year. There has been ICE in the dog bowl on the back deck TWICE this year! HORRORS! We call each other if we have ice it's such a rare event. And twice in one year!! Ick! I'm a big weenie when it comes to temps, I'll take 100 hot and humid anyday over cold. Tally HO!

Daniella, of course. I can send you some seeds when it makes some. I've noticed there are lots of seed pods forming, so hopefully a hard frost won't knock the vine out. I'm guessing they are as delicate as morning glories when it comes to frost. Theresa and Elizabeth, i can't take any credit for that! lol. I really neglect my yard a lot so whatever credit there is to give would go to the climate and the recent warm spell we've had. Theresa, If your mina lobata, doesn't make it (and if my mina makes seeds) you are welcome to have some. Mary, Eloise, Tj and Lucy: of the ten brugs from the same batch of seeds (three years ago), this is the one with the greenest midribs. The others have a fainter color. There was another that was yellowish and some are almost pure white. It is also the one with the largest blooms. I gave the rest away to family and friends this past thanksgiving (they were about 7 feet tall a piece). And to all, i can take a couple of cuttings from this brug to share with you all. It wouldn't be until after Christmas though. Just let me know if you would want that. Josh

lol, at least you have grass! All I have is weeds and dirt anymore. Darn dogs ruined all the grass. Guess maybe I should just make the whole yard a big garden, lol. wish I could!

Your plants are so healthy. I'm getting ready to root some oleander, could you please share the tip about using a green bottle? Thank you

Jan I read it here in a post. for a unknown reason if you root something in a green bottle it goes a LOT faster and things get a better root system. I started the orleander in it and everything else. Except for now as long as it is hot no brug cuttings. I do better putting them in earth right away. Hope that helped if not do a search or maybe others know more and can help you.
