I certainly wouldn't make the "Hoarder's" show with filth. I can make it presentable to my MIL within the time she pulls in the driveway and gets to the front door! The floor needs vacuuming more often than not, but that's got to change now that baby is crawling! grrr, I hate to vacuum! I firmly believe that anti-germ campaigns are hurting our children more than helping. I believe in dirt. And "YES" 'done & gone' is a great feeling!! I've now got 3 new ideas laying on my table to work over ;)

David- beautiful cheiridopsis. I have a few mesembs/mimicry plants. I can tell you I treat them as if they were my larger cactus so, that means I rarely water them. But, when I do I make sure the soil is saturated. During the heat of summer once a month. Never during the winter. but, most of my plants grow outside including the mesembs and they seem to be doing well. I was worried because a few months ago my area had gotten a deluge of rain for 3 days! All my mesembs made it though. They like cramped and rocky places too. I would guess it helps them anchor themselves. I also think (just a guess) that they do better with other mesembs around them. Maybe someone will offer better suggestions for both of us.

@bernard Trust me, I would've taken many more home if I had more space... haha. But also I got there much later so most of the nice ones were already gone I think. Thanks for the link, I wish there's more coming up in Toronto though @nametaken Thanks for the comment, must be nice to have lived so close to a wonderful garden. I did see that tree I think!! I will post some more cool plants/flowers I saw later. The prices were average-high I think, but again probably because I got there late

Finally on vacation and picked a perfect week for it)) Listen, let me send you a well rooted Cristen Auria as soon as yesterday and if you should feel like it you can send me a cutting of that jet bead anytime if you want. If not, it's ok, I still want you to have a Cristen in your possession since they are so cool especially when they flower. Hoping all is well. Cold here tonight for Junes standards.
