Clarification for my first post. 1. You already own a Kubota, probably know the quality built in. Probably have a decent relationship with the dealer. 2. Ultra-reliable and long lasting - take it to the grave with me. Willing to spend to get that. 3. Need to bag wet grass 25% of the time - Bagging with the 326 works all the time wet or dry with no clogging, I personally have not seen better and slick as a whistle to switch from bag to no bag. - dealer will be glad to allow to try out bagging system, they are quite "proud" of them. of course you pay for that. 4. Hubby doesn't want someone elses problems, and prefers new. I'm with you (or him) on this one, although in a couple of areas I'm stuck with used. wife not included - top shelf when I married her 40 yrs ago and still is. 5. Yes, the 326 is overkill for the 2 acres - if you are willing to take a few issues along the way to the grave, there are other options, I find Craftsman bag's better than JD's, I own both have had good luck with both - JD's cost more to buy and maintain - if you want good service JD is hard to beat, at least as good as Kubota, you should have experience with them, being a bota owner. 6. Go look at the equipment first, then use the spec sheets in the final comparision of the features to the dollar's. Good Luck, in what ever you decide

We are seeing the effects at the shop already of people on fixed incomes especially the elderly. Its terrible. People come in needing the a/c fixed in the car and look so sad when you tell them the cost. We help them out as much as we can and have gotten more into the barter system like the old days and trade work for work we need done when we can but we still have overhead costs to pay to stay in business. This one lady came in today and had paid someone $1500 to replace her entire a/c system and it still didn't work. She said it worked for about an hour. John checked it and they didn't put in a seal which caused a massive leak and she probably only needed one part to make it work to begin with and definitely not an entire system. I hate seeing people get ripped off. She had used her income tax rebate and stimulus money to fix what she had done already so we helped her out and she will come pay us later for the freon. I hope things don't get so bad that I can't continue to help the occasional person and that we don't end up getting messed over by people because they have to have repairs and just don't have the money. Its sad times and you are right going to get worse. I just went and read the thread about show yourself again and laughed so hard. That was a really fun thread. Sometimes if you think about it too much it makes it worse and you just have to find something to laugh about. I will look and see if I have anymore veggie seeds Marion. I need to plant another crop of squash as well since only one of Johns kind came up since the seeds are getting old. I sent most of the veggie seeds out at Christmas. I wish I could still have the energy for a big garden and to put it all up canning and freezing. I love fresh veggies.

Lucy, you are funny. I totally understand, as Mike is on eveyone's mind, lately. There is quite a bit of travel, but this trip was unusual. We had to bring two editing systems. Way too much gear to travel by plane. With camera and lighting gear, it filled my large Sprinter, cargo van from top to bottom, front to back. It is nice to be able to sit here in the van or a restaurant, and chat with all. Hong... I have a small video and television production company. A great deal of my business is for the PGA of America, through a larger production company. We are on our way home from Phoenix, where the PGA just had their annual meeting. If you saw, or smelled, the rat-hole motel we ended up in last night, you wouldn't think travel so glamorous. Our own fault... We just kept driving, till we could drive no more, then found all the hotels booked up. Fortunately, we only stayed for a long nap. Bob

They tend to carry diseases as well, I'll look into the traps......I do have one that we have used to round up the ferals but it's a standard live trap. sammyqc- NEVER feed animals (dogs, cats) outside or in the evening.....My laundry room is in the garage and it took about 4 months to get Angel to consent to eating in there, she still doesn't like it much, but when she got hungry enough............. vaccinium_hound- Like I said, I don't mind skunks, just don't want em under my house..No need to resort to violence ;o) digdirt- Been there done that (search) every time I tried a link it came up missing file (but I did have a fine list) I will try again thanks ddsack - Haven't had a problem in the garden (yet) but it is in the area where the dogs are and there are a few nieghbors 'close' that have unprotected gardens they seem to prefer. To be honest, this was a very healthy, dare I say it, pretty skunk........Don't wish it ill will, just want it gone......Gonna remember 'bout that rope..Thanks louster- Well I don't live antwhere near a city limit, but I explained my hesitation on shootin' them earlier in this thread. I haven't called animal control because last yr when we had 3-4 dogs (dumped, strays.....?) that started harassin' the area livestock, we were told just to shoot them, they didn't have time to come down to take care of them.....So, we (various neighbors) did...Not fun....Needless to say, waste of my time callin' about this....I was at the other end of my house yesterday trying to pitch mothballs in......(not a pretty sight) and as soon as I'm sure it's out that hole is sooooo gonna be plugged...Don't start me on why it's not, it's not easily seen and last summer (early) when I say something to my DH he blew me off and said it was taken care of..sigh....... Thanks to all of you for your suggestions, I truly enjoy this forum, I don't post much, but think I've learned a ton..........
