These do not look like Jade leaves to me at all., though hard to tell for sure from your photo. Look more like Echeveria leaves to me...

Thank you, that's the ID on the pot (I did see it & copied) - but the labels are wrong quite often, right?
I wasn't sure either, that's why I posted here - but understand that it's difficult to tell from such a tiny sprout.
(There are many different leaves there, circled are the one in question - but not so good photo.)
Will have to wait then to see what will grow from these leaves.

Hmmm, those leaves almost look like Sedum nussbaumerianum, which is in the Crassula family. These also become coppery golden in full sun.

They are Golden Jade. i have one also. Mine's called Campfire. It reddens up with more sun. Look at Devil's horn in center. It has even longer pointed leaves.

Looking at Stushe's photo, leaf shape is also similar to his Campfire.

The plant was apparently very loose in the pot - sometimes they fall out of pots in the store, and I wouldn't be surprised if the plant was eventually put in the wrong pot.
Mystery continues...
I am going to keep both names mentioned, and hopefully will be able to correctly ID it as it grows bigger.

Even if it were Crassula capitella 'Campfire' it is not what most would call a Jade. If you google Golden Jade you come up with Golden Jade Crassula Ovata "Hummel's Sunset".
