OT: POTD Found something really beautiful in the garden

I love early Mornings.

It gives me ME time on here and I have time to wake up.

Just so I can peacefully wish you all a happy TGIF and to have a great day.

Weather is kind of going crazy at some parts of the Country. So I hope no one is getting harmed. By what ever it is...to much rain or to much heat.

Like the wildfire in CA...I do hope they get it under control without no harm to anybody. Sure hope no GW lives there that we have to worry about you!!?

Now let me tell you about my find:

I do not know which animal lost it...or why I saw it laying in the grass...but I did and it was just amazing.

The texture...the hardiness even though it looks so fragile. Not even talking about the size. Must have been a nice sized critter lol

I know by now the suspense is killing you so I will show you lol

Lucy, I hope your fur baby gets better quickly! With four kitties of my own, I can certainly relate to how it feels to have a sick baby. One of ours is currently in renal failure, and we have to do fluid injections three times a week. We're very fortunate that one of the vet tech's has volunteered to stop by after work a couple times a week to assist with the IV fluids. I'm reminded of a quote by Will Rogers... "The best doctor in the world is the veterinarian. He can't ask his patients what is the matter-he's got to just know." Don't beat yourself up for not knowing the severity of your kitty's problems. My dog had a 6 lb tumor on her spleen, and we have no idea how long it was there, we chalked her lack of appetite and other symptoms to her getting older. It wasn't until the tumor started to poke down under her rib cage that we noticed the lump. Fortunately it was benign and she's happy and healthy today. I will keep you and Amadeus in my prayers.

Hey Lucy, I have dug up my share of rocks too! They surely do come in handy at times. I feel for you getting to enjoy the neighbors sewer. Just got rid of that problem myself. Didn't run on my side mind you however, the smell would knock you down! Glad our lots are very large! They finally had new field lines installed about 2 weeks ago. I got maybe half of my grass mowed yesterday and the storm came. It is suppose to rain again today too. I will try to mow some more after it dries up a little this morning. Maybe I can get a little more down. At least finish where people can see. haha I will just have to walk through the tall wet grass to work on my plants. When you find that garden helper send him on over to me. : ) Good Luck with your mower today! Tammy

hey all, I am just glad I am not the guy that drank the guys drink roflmao I don't know why I only ended up with ONE star hibiscus. I planted so many seeds at the winter sowing. So many had shared the seeds with me and I hope I can pass it on to others. Yupp I just got done watering too a few minutes ago. But while I water, I also do a touch, talk and cleaning up of most plants lol. Brenda good thought...not long and it will be Halloween again. I don't know if I got the bloom wet in the morning when I first sprayed the leaves down. But a few pedals were a little deformed. I still loved it because it was my FIRST :-) Lucy

Daniella you are right...everything else fades when she is here Caren I think that is great..I am sure Maddy will show her a great time. Maybe this Oma can take them to the city playground or where ever when Mommy gets the house set up. Not long and I get to meet em :-) I hug em for you Lucy

Karyn maybe the rest got eaten :-((( It must have been a big dragonfly WOW lol.

Maybe after my nap I will google wings. All I know is that *I* have no idea who it belonged to. Thank you all for the guesses

At least I was able to wash my hand...you actually stuck your tongue into the poop poop pond roflmao I guess we both are fearless ha ha ha ha ha As with you, the thought that something bad comes with it..never came to mind lol

Caren I am sure they got it...I mean why else would there be no sign for from the Realtor?!!!

Daniella will look up a cicada too. But from the ones I have seen...not likely. I mean this wing was so sturdy and solid ..it almost looked like it is a peace of stained glass piece!

All I know is...what ever it was...ain't flying around any more. :-(

But I loved the beauty of Gods creations.

Lucy~ I agree with my girl Daniella you have found a cicada wing which we have alot around here at my place,but it sounds better as a fairy wing.

Kylie I think about you a lot when I use these big pictures. So I am even more happy that you stop by here and there ((HUGS)) AND>...here it LOOKS like RAIN!!! Gosh I hope we get some!!! EVERYONE that needs rain!!!

Cicada. Daniella and Rigo had it right. One of the suckers flew into my head this morning and got itself caught up in my hair. I took a look at it's wings once I got it untangled. They are such big stupid bugs but they are kind of cute.
