Why do Sarrs Hate me?

I don't know what the deal is, but I can't keep these things through dormancy to save my life! I lost my huge "Scarlett Belle" to a massive fungus attack. My theory is that when I put it in the wine cellar, all those pitchers (it was absolutely thick and dense) inhibited the airflow near the rhizome...hence fungus attack. I lost two others (I think); and I have no idea why. Perhaps I let them get too dry. My sarracenia purpurea purpurea and venosa made it just fine. Heck, even my cobra lilly is doing well. I don't get it...these aren't supposed to be that hard; and I just can't get them through the winter! I keep lot's of the difficult CPs just fine; but I just can't get these sarrs through domrancy. Any advice?
