Creepy crawlies on nepenthes

I've recently discovered that there are some little "critters" on my nepenthes which are wintering over indoors right now .

They are all at or under 1/8" in length, and very thin. I can sometimes see them crawling aound on my nepenthes, several of which have some leaves which are a bit ill looking ( yellowing/browning ).

So far I've washed them off of the leaves with distilled water and have been using scotch tape to remove any " repaet offenders " .

I know that my description is rather vague, but does anyone have any idea what they are and whether they may be harmful to my plnats ?

Any recommended treatments for pest infestations ?

Thanks !

Jay
