You can look in your ebay account to see who you have bought from. It is a drag when you don't what you expect. On the other hand I would be bouncing if I had any blooms never mind 56! (I'm envious.)

I get so excited when I see the different brugs on e-bay....and have gotten quite a few. Going broke, really... Mostly have been cuttings , rooted and fresh. And the larger plants have been from Katz, Countrygardens, and Seedsprout. (I have been reading here how good these sellers are, and have not been disapointed so far.)
Is there any way , as a group, a list of good sellers, - sellers who REALLY send the true plants, and sellers who don't?? Or would the plants be too hard to identify to be sure?? Would the time factor between getting them, and their blooms be an issue ? I have been really worried about the "what if s"..
I have given away many to friends and family, even though I have only had them a few weeks or less myself, just to have them be as happy as I am, just to have a Brug!. I am really shy of naming questionable sellers on the forum, I did once, and a whole hornets nest exploded !!! (By the way, of the 3 so called "rooted cuttings" from THAT seller, which turned out to only have nubbies on them, one has rooted, and the other 2 have been trimmed twice to remove mushy ends. If they continue to rot, they will go into the trash...) I really can't wait till fall, so I can ask for cuttings that I can depend on being true to what they are said to be. And , by the way, the only ones I think I will purchase the rest of this season will be the doubles. They are only a few dollars more, and are so pretty....Well, maybe,, I really like the pendulous ones like Rosenquartz..... ANY WAY...
Maybe a list of parasitic swappers also ?? I have sent packages to someone, who said they would send cuttings, only to be told , after many weeks of waiting, horror stories as to why they cant send a package back. Death in the family, grandchilderen getting molested by step parent, and say they just can't deal with life, and have to put any sending on hold.... COME ON....
Live and learn , I guess.
I wish we could have a swap-get-together close to where I am, as I do not travel well. I sure could bring some to trade, and would like to get a few different ones....

Sandra, the ones that are getting mushy need to go in soil. Some just won't root in water. Put them in a really small pot with lots perlite mixed with the potting soil so they won't stay too wet and place them in the shade outside and you will have better luck. Don't put in a bigger pot til you see roots coming out the bottom. I dust the ends of those with rooting hormone or anti fungal such as wettable sulfur and have had much better luck that way with the hard to root ones.

My doubles and triples have not bloomed yet. I'm just dying to see them when they do. That is of course if they are what I paid for. LOL I'll realy be ticked off if they are not what I paid for. I have 3 H.G's that I'm dying to see bloom. Two are taking off and really getting big, but I see no buds are anything on them yet. Several of the brugs that were growing like crazy and have HUGE leaves have shown no sign of buds either. I'm going to try some different fertilizer on them and see what happens. Who knows what the difference is? Some get all day sun, and others get morning only sun then filtered sunlight off and on the rest of the day. They all get plenty of heat, water, and anything else I can think of that they might need. LOL A little epson salt, bananas, and they always get a pep talk. I did that with my hydrangeas and then threatend them if they didn't bloom that I was going to jurk them out of the flowerbeds. It's too funny but EVERY SINGLE ONE of the BLOOMED their heads off too. I guess they knew I was serious.

Anyway, my brugs are all blooming off and on except for the dbs and trips. Anyone know why these are taken longer?

P.S. I can figure out which ones are not what they were sold as and who I got them from. When I have time to dig around and find the name tags that are in front of each one and then compare it with the list, I should be able to pin point who sold me the WRONG BRUGS. I'll let ya'll know when I get a chance. But I will do it in private emails and not on the brug forum. It will only be brugs that I bought. How in the world could anyone get upset with someone who shared a cutting with another gardener and they mislabled it as something else?

Like I said before, I'm just thrilled I have soooo many blooms my first year and so early in the year too.
Why is it I always have to write a book when I'm posting?
