GF: How do you tell Males from Females?

I released my first three Gulf Fritillaries yesterday and today. I am keeping track of all my releases, but I don't know how to tell the difference between the male and female. All three looked the same to me. I have more on the way. I found these five cats on about 10 inches of passion vine my neighbor gave me for a starter plant. Needless to say, the few leaves were gone in no time and I had to keep clipping her passionvine to feed the GF's. So, I purchased a new passionvine plant for my new trellis and arbor and while my husband was putting the finishing touches to the trellis, a Zebra Longwing was buzzing around him and the new plant. Guess what! More eggs, before I even got the plant in the ground! Now it's back to my neighbor's passionvine! This is my first season for raising butterflies and I was ill-prepared in host plant material for all the caterpillars that keep falling under my care. But, I have to say, I am having great fun! Mary
