Where are the pics???? I want pics, especially of the donkey. What I really want is a Patty! lol That was very nice of her. I bet your yard looks great.

Kristy. it's great to have a friend like patty. but don't over do it. you want to make sure you are all well. so you can enjoy what you have got done. I am looking forward to you pic's. I bet it is really pretty. I have to finish painting my front porch tommorrow. I finished my back porch today. I just have one more brug to go into the ground then I can take pic's of my work. I had to leave right before we finished and it was dark when I got home, lol. I still have a to put away the empty pots and I will get some pics. It does look great. You should see Patty's yard. She has made a bunch of new beds and everything looks wonderful. I am definitely whipped and my feet are swollen, lol. I hate being so unable to do work like this on my own anymore. Its crappy when your mind wants to do so much and you body is protesting. I will do a little at a time until I get the rest done. I just have to make sure and water whats still in pots enough until I get it planted. John had been taking care of the watering while I was sick and he must only give them a splash each, lol. Everything was bone dry today. At least he gave me the day off today when he found out Patty was coming. He knew if he didn't he would have to plant most of it himself, lol. I told him he owes Patty a big a favor, lol.

Kristy, that is so great to have such a wonderful friend like Patty! I have some potted plants that need to go in the ground but no time to do that. Friends that live close by aren't into plants :-( so they couldn't care less whether a plant needs repotting or watering. Yes, pictures please.

Most of my friends aren't into plants either. I invited Lucy from this forum and Jackie, a girl from the Texas forum over this morning and shared some plants with them and they helped me transplant some gardenia's that were doing well and did some weeding and planting. Its nice to have gardening friends. I took a few pics this morning and will take more this evening. Still have some stacks of pots in the front yard, lol. Had to go to work and didn't get to finish cleaning everything up.

Come on Kristy we want to see pictures. I want a friend like Patty too. I just know I could get so much accomplished if I had someone to plant and all I had to do was point...plant that here, and that there and move this to over there and so forth.

I would get out and try to find someone to help but all my friends are like me, old and not able to do what we once could. LOL

Ok, here are some pics. It was overcast this morning and this evening and I still need to clean up. My neck is killing me. Gotta go get a massage in the morning. A lot of this stuff came from the clearance racks so looks kind of bad right now but it will all look better soon. I just finished feeding everything. I need to find some moss to hide the pots for the donkey's saddle bags.

Thanks Elizabeth. I still have one more to do around my gazebo and I think that will be it for this year or at least until fall when it cools off again. I will feel better after the massage again. I still have a few things left to plant and move some pots and rearrange things and clean up. I need to figure out a way to hide my hose reel too. Here are a couple of pics of some of my containers and a piece of the gecko, lol. He kept moving and I couldn't get a whole pic of him. Poor thing looks like he lost the end of his tail and don't know where his girlfriend went. She wasn't in there today when I checked on them.

Yep, that is me... A Gardening Super-Hero in high heels, eye-liner and a push-up bra....With a shovel in one hand, a root bound plant in the other and dirt under my fingernails and mud on my knees!

NOT!!! That is just the way that Kristy makes me sound.
I just like to plant stuff and watch it grow. A few hours of helping her garden is well worth what she gave me when we first met! LOL!

The pictures do not do her yard justice. Much prettier when you can actually see it. It will be beautiful when the plants fill out in a couple of months.

She is a superhero, don't let her fool you, lol. Yes that is John in the pic and I really need to paint the house. I hate the color now that I can see it, lol. I got the massage this morning and will be like brand new by tomorrow I hope, lol. Kylie, maybe Patty and I can take a road trip to your house one day if we can get some free time at the same time, lol. I don't know how the geckos are getting in and out of the fuse box but they are always in there when I open it but now one is missing. I will try and get another pic of him tonight. He is faster than the flash on my camera, lol. I did get a whole pic of him but he up high and shadow from the door was in the way. I had the idea to stuff the donkeys belly but Patty broke the planter and shoved it up his butt, lol. The nose was her idea too. I am ashamed to show the pics of my brugs. They look pitiful. I fed them last night so I will take pics of them after they green back up. Everything got a good soaking last night.

I love the Donkey!!!! I swear I have looked at that pic 10 times today!! What if you got a black rigid pot drilled holes all around it put in the potting soil and planted in the holes ..something really short ..creeping thyme ,baby tears???I have this 4ft 12" wide piece of PVC that I drilled holes (lots of holes...LOL) all around it filled it and planted it and it was this tower of flowers..and a breeze to care for...

Kristy, isnt it nice to have someone that can give you some help. A friend of mine came and helped plant something this past weekend for me...doesnt sound like we got as much done as you did, but all the help I can get is great !

I love your front yard, and hope you will post some more pics when things start to fill in. The donkey is just too cute !

Thanks. Thats a great idea Kylie. You should have seen us trying to figure out how to stuff things in him, lol. I need to get some kind of grass for his tail, lol. I would love to see your pipe flower tower. I bet that is neat. Yes, thank goodness for my friends. I would have never been able to do all that by myself. I will be at the hospital all day tomorrow but hopefully I can do some more Friday morning.
