Here's the before and after of the front bed.My DH built the trellis.

I think I want to grow Climbing roses and clematis on the trellis. There is already one Climbing rose and I have a Joseph's Coat climbing rose that I think is dead. Any suggestions on a good climbing rose?How about clematis favorites?

Karyn yes when they ate or slept...they were so cute and like angels ha ha ha Diana I had no choice....Because it was Maddy's Disney vacation. From now on...I go during the cooler season! I opened the door...the humidity hit my body and I started to sweat and it was just dripping and I had to wipe off the make up real fast ...first and last time I put it on while there lol Pam bad thing is...Maddy knows it lol Oh my gosh Kristy...that Ice cream was SO smooth...so yummy. OT: which digital picture frame for my Mom

I have a smartparts and love it, the remote is about the size of a pack of playing cards but very thin but easy to see with large buttons, all I have to do is stick my usb thumb drive in it and upload the pictures to the frame memory, it turns off each night at a specified time and turns on in the morning at a set time, it is great and very easy to use. I really like it and would recommend it, my husband got it for me for Christmas from costco. I just got a little piece of the self stick velcro and stick the remote to the back of the frame so I don't lose it. You do not need any type of connection other than plugging it into the power. Mine is 8.4 inches which is perfect for my desk. It does the various fades in and out and auto rotation and transitions, the pics are extremely clear.

Pagan I took a few pictures today of my cold loving plants. Does this look familiar? It has rooted nicely. My Mesembs are appreciating the cooler temperatures, I have almost managed to kill several more. Now I know the secret behind the puddles of mush. A few of these are showing signs of overwatering (like they might burst), apparently I began watering too aggressively after they showed signs of growth. Back to small sips!

Thank, Karyn! He probably would if I asked him! He worked near where you live a couple years ago. So he could find your house!LOL

Linda,That plant stand has plenty of room!I love it! My nail designs are airbrushed on. As you can see I garden with no gloves on. I get this gel on top and it cures under lights. I'm good to go in 10 minutes no polish drying and it holds up 2-3 wks.
When I go back it has to be sanded off!

Wow, your hubby does really nice work ! That trellis will look so nice with a climbing rose and clematis on it.

Think he would want to see RI ? LOL

I cant get over the size of your hosta leaves, WOW !

That hosta is huge, I have the same ones, My leaves get big, but dont get that big, wonder if its cuz they are in complete shade. How much sun do yours get?

Can you just ship you husband around to all of us. I love the trellis and shelves and the diamond too, lol. I am just growing clematis and roses this year so I won't be able to tell you which ones do well. They have tons of info on the clematis forum. Many of them mix climbing roses and clematis together.

Thanks! I'm glad he's a carpenter by trade! He built the gray fence in the other pictures.Used the same concept to frame the lattice on the top of trellis.

Kristy, I've been all over the web, looking for rose/clem info. You know your opinions come first though!!!LOL

Mike, my diamond could be bigger!LOL But it doesn't have any flaws & alot of money for a 22 yr. old(My Hubby 26 yrs. ago) to buy! I should probably take it off and where gloves when I garden. You know how that goes."I'm just gonna' go out and look around", before you know it you're all dirty!LOL

Daniella & Kym, those hostas are unbelievable. The roots are as big as the leaves. I don't know how I'm going to dig them up. I have to get working on digging up the hostas(different variety)on either side of my front steps. We're having stone put over top of the concrete.
The lilac bloomed really nicely this year, not good at all last year. Go figure!
Karma, I would love to have him come to each and every one of your homes.Of course, I'd have to tag along!LOL
