Another couple of seeds to try would be Marigolds and Sunflowers, if you like them. These are what my kids (4 and 5) grow, because they are so simple, but they do require a lot of light. After looking through some on-line catalogues and deciding what you would like to try, why don't you post on the exchange page before you spend a lot on seeds? Lots of people willing to help out with seeds, just for sase. And geraniums are really easy to root from cuttings, rather that start with seeds, if you want some nice large plants this summer. And they are very easy to overwinter, either in a sunny window, or storing them.
