Oh Kristy I am so sorry about your Mercedes AND your well being. Listen, I can give you a hand on Friday?! Right now I am leaving my things be. so let me know if that is good. I still have the castor beans and maybe one or 2 other cuttings you might like. so I am ready to meet you in person. Just not tomorrow since hubby has a day off and we go shopping. Its ok Lucy, my back and neck are ongoing problems. I have good days and bad days. I just have to catch up when I am feeling good and the last couple of weeks have been rough. My neighbors have gotten used to me taking forever to finish a project, lol. It will get done in time. I am going to take a hot bath and get tens unit on and try to go to sleep and he said he will help me tomorrow night after work. He is so excited to see the plants Patty brought me he called a friend and asked about buying his small dump trailer he is selling to haul dirt and plants with for me. Poor Mercedes is beat or the medicine has her tired. She went to sleep as soon as we got home. I just wish she would take her medicine without having to shove it down her throat. I'm going to go stock up on some hot dogs tomorrow to hide it in, lol.

Kristy - I'm so sorry about Mercedes. I hope the meds help her.

I'm struggling with my 15yo old pooch. It's getting close and I'm having a hard time.

Thanks guys. Its hard seeing your pets grow old just like any other member of the family. I will be watching for it Barbra. I am going to do my best to get my stuff sent out Monday.

I'm sorry about Mercedes. How old is she? It is hard when they get old. As long as she can be happy and comfortable it's all good. It's almost impossible to be objective and know when it's enough. I hope the new meds help and I hope you are feeling better as well.

I am off on Monday. If you can manage to talk John into letting you off, I'll come help you plant the stuff then. Try to talk him into getting the beds full of dirt and another load of compost by then. Try to get some rest over the weekend and don't go out fighting those big fish till you hurt yourself. I put my brug in the ground this morning along with a couple of dozen other plants. Morning sun, afternoon shade. Hopefully it will survive and bloom for me.

Thanks Patty, thats sweet of you. We are going to work on it but with my neck acting up I don't know if I can finish by Monday but I'll try. Mercedes is about 13 years old and the vet said most dobermans don't live past 8 or 9 years old. I will not let her suffer but don't want to put her down til I know she doesn't have a good quality of life. Right now she is still able to go to work everyday and loves being with us. It would kill her to have to stay home so I will keep her as healthy as I can. I wish my friend would hurry home from her vacation that gives me massages. After she does her thing I am good for a couple of weeks at a time. She is awesome. Well I gotta get to work so I'll talk to you all later.

Kristy why does your neck bother you? oh yeah......gooooooood day! Cut the grass front and half in back. Son fixed the lawnmower. Now I will work in the house waiting for my brugs to be delivered lol. Have not made it to Walmart yet. Maybe later today. Oma has to wait since THIS Oma here is having her granddaughter over this WE. I tell you, between Patty and I we could knock that bed out in no time ;-)

Lol, Hopefully I can get a lot done on it. I have bad disks in my neck and have had 2 fused last year already and have fibromyalgia so I do as much as I can on the good days since the bad days can last for weeks, lol. The landscape rocks are so dang heavy. That is whats hurting me to do is lifting and rearranging them. I still have to kill some grass in there.

Ok I will be there Fri morning....and wake you AFTER I am done if I have to do that in order for you letting me help ;-) Just kiddin, not without you present. Since it is suppose to be YOUR garden and just my little *lol* hand that help out. Take it. PLEASE.........so.........what time? *grins*

I know it is tough,Lucky is at the vet now for his second treatment,this is the one that is suppose to be the one to tell.He has to stay in the hospital tonight,and had to get two of those shots this time,I just hope and pray things get better for us all.
Kristy speaking of the fibromyalgia,I have that too,ugggh so painful my Dr,has put me on yet another drug,but it seems to help more than anything else,have you tried Lyrica?If not maybe you should ask the Dr. about it.Love ya,and hugs, Bonnie

Kristy, I know what your going thru with Mercedes, 3 years ago I was in your shoes. My vet told me that everyday that Maggie got up was a good day, and that is how I had to handle it, one day at a time. She finally went to sleep under a large leaf in my back yard, and went to meet Jake, who had just passed a month earlier. She was my best friend. My heart is breaking just writing this. On a positive note, I hope you get your package from me today, if not today, it should be tomorrow. I tried to put all the stuff you mentioned that you wanted. I did not have enought room to put everything, I overpacked my box to Karyn. I was more careful this time. Barbra,

Christy, I think you should get a nice lounge chair, and sat it in a nice shady spot on your yard; then you and Mercedes just relax on it and let the hubby do the rock moving and the weed pulling, since it is a man job :).
I do hope you get some rest and feel better, and I am glad Mercedes will have a little more time with your family ater the vet visit.

Thanks Ria, I am still hurting a lot but thank goodness for Vicodin, lol. I am hoping its the new medicine I'm on causing all the pain and it will go away if I quit taking it. She is still coughing but perkier today so I hope her meds are helping. I'll know on May 1st when they redo her xrays.
