There are several people that used to post regularly that seem to have dropped off the face of the earth. Anyone heard from the following?:

Hey Everyone! Wow, I haven't been here in a couple years!! Lots of new names, and some familiar ones too. Tami gave me a heads up to come check in so here i am! I hope everyone is dong well. Lets see, what's new with us? Grant will be 8 next month (July 19) and is going into 3rd grade. He's growing like a weed, has his dads mechanically inclined mind and loves tools and machinery. He's very smart and is a hard worker!! He's independent and sweet!! Camryn was 5 in January and is a spitfire! She's funny and outgoing but she's got a devilish streak in her for sure. She's stubborn and wants nobody to be the boss of her, so she says. She's starting Kindergarten in August and is super excited. She's not a girly girl AT ALL!!! Our dog, Harlow, is 2.5 and is, I swear, Dakota's twin. They act almost identical in every way. It's almost scary because sometimes I feel like they're the same dog. She's super curious and playful, and adorable. As for me, I'm just staying busy with the kids. We just moved out of our house 2 weeks ago into an apartment temporarily while our home undergoes a massive remodel/addition. Well, it's more of a slight rebuild. We are adding on almost 1500 square feet (building a 2nd level) so we are living in an apartment for 6 months. It's interesting but so far so good!! Hope everyone else is doing great!!! I'll try to check back more often!! :-) I'm on Facebook if anyone wants to find me there. Lots of kid pictures. Just give me your KT name or I probably wont know who you are! :-)

Thanks everyone for the concern. I had a really bad week awhile back. I couldn't walk from my living room to the kitchen without getting so out of breath that I had to sit down and rest. I should have called the doctor right then, but I waited till Friday of that week and was told to go to the emergency room right away. They thought I might have a blood clot in my lung since one of the meds I am taking can cause blood clots. It turned out that I had pneumonia and all my counts were low, such as my white blood cells, red cell, etc. So they put me in the hospital for 6 days. They did get me all straightened out. But I am still very weak. I had my last chemo treatment this past Tuesday. Yea!!!!!! Now I am scheduled for a ct scan and then my surgeon will schedule me for my next surgery. I am ready to get it over with! Again, thanks for the e-mails, facebook messages, and this post.

My youngest daughter just found out the hard way about the evil side of social media. She just recently announced her pregnancy after a loss and thought her 'friends' would be supportive and happy for her. One of her 'friends' started up a hate campaign with personal messages (via Snapchat, which I don't do) and began cyber bullying her. Saying things like 'I hope this baby dies too'......and 'you look too far along to be 10 weeks so you must have faked the miscarriage and said it happened to get attention'. This person is my stepson's girlfriend and a new mother herself! She has now been blocked on all social media by both my daughter, myself and my husband but it has created a huge rift in the family. I doubt my husband will ever get to see his grandson now. So, social media can be used as a weapon. I also miss so many of our forum friends who left. To me this place is like 'family' and we come together for the love of beautiful flowers. There's no hatred here, no judgement, no negativity. Everyone is polite and friendly. That's why it bothers us so much that HOUZZ is messing up our fun time!! We liked it the way it was.

I have moved all the plants inside now. It is starting to be cold overnight, and is raining a lot. Wet & cold isn't too good for succulents as I always suggested, lol. I need to organize mst of it yet, & may need more lights...Kevin, I don't remember the sedum, it was likely something common. I got few nice plants from you like this gasteria - it was just a single plant then. This has been already divided, I should do it again or repot. It is in a 4" pot now. And, of course, I still have too many jades!!! I did get rid of number of them, but still have too many. Hope to have some blooming this year.

I've seen napdognewfie around, but I can't recall which forum. It was very recent, though.

Mike hasn't been around very much either, since he got his new TV and fish tank. LOL

We do have quite a few members AWOL...LOL Hopefully they are working for Spring and just don't have the time to pop in...

Hope they are all just busy, and everything is alright.

LOL Yes I have noticed Mike is not posting alot but we do not need to worry, we know he is in front of that new bigscreen or busy with puppies like some of you said.

Yep Honglee is another one missing. I also hope all of the missing persons are just busy and nothing is wrong.

It always stinks you get close to someone and they find other interests or life just gets in the way. I bet this forum gets really slow at planting time.... Did someone say puppies...I hope Mike has puppies

Thanks for missing me! I was wondering about the others too, maybe they are busy. I'm here, I've just been looking at seed catalogs until I am cross-eyed & haven't had as much puter time. I check in regularly & I'll be back more after seeds are started.

Sometimes it is just nice to come back late in the evening and read a post like this. The caring. The funny moments with Mike and his TV.

Linda glad to kow that you are busy with your seed catalogs. Mine all came AFTER I had already enough planted lol

I'm here!! Have missed all of you!!! Have had computer problems along with several other small crisises! Been trying to read and catch up. I have lost nearly all of my brugs that I dug up and put in pots when I moved. With no GH this year as I have had in past years, I covered everthing with frost cloths, but it did not protect them. Most are dead down to and including the roots. Some may come back but I lost most of my doubles and my really nice singles. I have got all my new beds dug and ready for planting but have to see what survives then will start planting.
Karyn--glad you will be able to come to FL again. At least it is warmer down there than up here in Jax!! I may have to consider moving south! Will have to make a GH this summer and be better prepared!!

I am ready for SPRING!!!!!

Ahh, you guys are too sweet. I've only missed one day, LOL! For the past couple of days, includes today, I have been running late getting out of my house so didn't get a chance to check in so this is brief, you think, LOL!

BTW, last of knew about Gloria was that she was having computer problems. I've tried emailing her but the email bounces back as undeliverable.
