Monarchs, up close and personal

I have a milkweed patch on the side of my house. And this mother had spent about 2 1/2 days fluttering around my colony of milkweeds laying eggs, until finally she was so tired she sat on the milkweed for about a day, and probably died. She was so docile I could pick her up.
