I need help with my old Christmas cactus

My Christmas Cactus is probably at least 10-15yrs old and to my knowlege has never been repotted.

It is currently in a 11inch clay pot and is approx. 33 x 24 inches in diameter and ~ 8 inches high from the pot.

I think I can see 3 or 4 main trunks coming from the soil.

This is the first year that it did not bloom fully and I know it needs repotting.

Can anyone give me instructions as to how to divide it up, what size pot (what KIND of pot) and what type of soil.

I have read that a 2:1 peat/sand mix is good. Shoud I cut it back?

Thankyou in advance!
