too hot too long. . . so sad

I see there are a few others that feel the same way I do, the heat is too much and the plants and flowers all show signs of suffering. I have thrown three pots in the dump of what used to be petunias, geraniums, etc (all store bought so there wasn't near the attachment as home grown ones), but still, it's barely September.

My beds are going to get yanked early as well, the only one doing worth a darn is the shade bed with hostas, impatience, and astilbe. But it sets near the outdoor faucet and gets a good drip when I try to keep the other beds alive.

So, I'm making plans for wsing. Geez we couldn't even go camping Labor Day cuz you can't drive in the wilderness, have a fire (duh) or even fish due to the water temps. We have had 14 wildfires in Montana this summer and some are still burning, 2 were on the out skirts of town, really a close call.

So, my growing season is about done, it will be frost time before too long tho so no great loss.
