Beautiful walkway Gardenweed! I love the stone you've recovered. Your yard looks pretty green despite the drought in your area. Do I see some space in the back yard for more gardens? :)

Very nice Eileen,I love a curved path,and yours is so inviting,nothing nicer than finding free material to work with,the fence adds just the right touch.
Your plant nanny is doing it's job, I have used them for a few years now,sure saves on watering,eh.
Can't wait to see your garden next year,it will be so pretty.For not having any rain, every thing looks so nice,you must be working your butt off keeping every thing watered.

This is just beyond gorgeous, no question. I hadn't seen that last photo angle! I can't believe all this was winter sown. :) Are you doing it again this year? I'm probably not...if I get any more plants I'll have to make a new bed! (Like this is never going to happen...)

Wonderful project. Can you name some of your WS plants for us? Your comment about rain made me want to suggest something to you. I highly recommend collecting rainwater. My most rewarding project was the 4 rain barrels I built 4 years ago. It was so easy to do.

Thanks everyone--I sure appreciate the positive comments & compliments. It was a lot of hard work--the guys just did the walkway & fence. I did the rest and am still not finished. I've added quite a few more plants since these pictures were taken, most of them at the far end where the path curves around to the north side of the garage & what I call the Burgess Slope. Folks next door are named Burgess and if you go by the property line, the slope is on their side. They're thrilled with what I've done plant-wise and he's the one who got me the process gravel for the walkway. He's friends with the guy who owns the local quarry--just drives my truck up there & gets it filled for $0.00.
