Hi Guys, I will be coming over from Parker on the Colorado River. I am bringing assorted pots and some canna roots, assorted colors and probabley some seeds, etc. Maybe some other stuff, am cleaning out the garage as we speak. It will be nice to meet you all.

Nancy's fish are simply gorgeous! Her ponds are, also. They really set-off her fish.

PLANTS
Potted up: some Aloe vera (the red-orange flowered variety); a Ruellia brittoniana; some Opuntia dejecta pads (a great arboreal specimen plant from the Central Americas -- the mom is about 8' tall and still growing). Assorted seed, mainly Datura and Yucca but some others. A bag of Agave weberi pups. And anything else I can find.

BTW, although it has been started as a function of the GW people, it is not an officially sanctioned "Garden Web" event (& when contacted for any help, they declined). So, if you have garden friends who aren't into computers, bring 'em along! It's a garden thang.

Hi, I actually work in New York City but own a home in Tucson. I am flying out Sept 30 and would love to drop in at your Swap if someone will give me the details. I don't have anything to trade, but I am sure I can bring something to eat. And perhaps all of you can advise me since I will be home to do lots of gardening.

PC I'm not surprised GW is not interested - if only you had contacted them to buy some pop up ads.... I can't believe I actually got on this site tonight. For the past 2 days, I keep getting a bad URL message resulting in a blank page all compliments of the lovely pop up ads on this site. Happens about 3 out of 4 times I click a post to read it. Really annoying but so far tonight, they seem to have abated.

i just moved here with all my plants and most of them are a little sorry lookings. i can bring some bits and pieces of succulents and i have an extensive begonia collection. i'll bring leaves only if someone asks, because i'm not sure how well they'd survive the day.

My friend from work may be comming with the two barrels that won't fit in my truck to trade for some cactus for his yard.He has everything from what I have to trade already so he'll be looking for other stuff. Here's a preview of whats on the way.
p.s. I'm not sure the "old man cactus" in the back will be there... I think I have a spot in my yard...

I will be there with all sorts of fun tropical seeds like poincinia, butterfly pea (a really beautiful deep blue flowering vine, that grows here in the summer), cherimoya seeds, drumstick tree seeds,sweet potato vine cuttings etc.
I will also try to bring some food along.

I'll be there! I'll bring something to eat and some cuttings of various stuff that I can't divulge right now because I can never, ever plan that far in advance. Not that I wouldn't, but I can't. Drain bamage or ADD or something. I will bring something to eat, though. It won't be sweet, but it will be tasty.

DH and I retired to Surprise a year ago. Have been lurking here longer and am so grateful for all the ideas and advice we've gleaned. Have gardened organic coast to coast - AZ the most challenging but we are learning! Growing fruit, including some tropicals, veggies, incl. some Asian, herbs, cactus, roses, perennials, pond plants, orchids. Try a lot from seed.

DH and I would like to join you Sat. for the Swap. Have a few extra impatiens and coleus seedlings, possibly a couple veggie plants and lemongrass to share, and pumpkin cake for nibbling.

Is anyone interested in the Datura volunteers I have or should I just skip them? I have at least four that I can get, if they're wanted.

I'll be there too with bells on. Okay, not bells, but I'll be there. I've got some fun rooted coleus plants, plus I'll take some fresh cuttings too (and put in plastic bags with wet paper towels), plus I'll troll the garden this week to see if there's anything else of merit to bring along.
