how to upright a weeping cherry tree

I planted a 3" weeping cherry tree last spring. It's been growing quite well.

However, its branches have grown horizontally and laid on the ground. I just started trying to get it upright. The branches have shaped in the way that I had a hard time to adjust then to the up right position now. I used 2 sticks to hold them up, but my unprofessional way of securing the branches failed. One of the branches (the right one) slided down again. I am afraid to put a great force to the branches, not wanting to break them. Are there any way I can use to make the tree up right? Thanks
