Tree Planting for the Short vs Long Term

This is quite a subjective question but maybe someone can help push me in one direction vs the other.

I'd like to plant a tree in full sun to enjoy a multi-seaonal show BUT in 10 years the area will become partly shaded.

The other goal is for this tree to provide some growing season privacy and shade until the Celebration maples fill in.

.

So over that time it will go from 12 hours of sun to maybe 5 hours of sun.

Do you go with a sun lover to get the Flower and fruit of lets say a Crabapple?

or

Do you go with an understory tree that might not put on as good of show but will do ok in both full sun and partial shade, lets say a Serviceberry (I feel like they are short lived)?

I'm open to suggestions for any height x 15' wide max tree with mutliseasonal interest that would fit that changing light enviroment.
