Comments (7)First, pictures lie. It is NOT perfect. So thank you for saying nice things. I sanded it with this great Sears multi-purpose battery-powered tool. The sanding head is triangular and about 3" at its widest point. If I had to hand-sand at the beginning, I would never do a project. The sandpaper was 125 grit. Once the main sanding was done, I hand sanded to make it smoother using a finer grit. After sanding I applied 3 coats of MinWax quick-drying Clear Satin Polyurethane. I sanded lightly (by hand this time using fine sand paper) between coats and always wiped it down with mineral spirits before applying the polyurethane. Hope this helps you. I am not all that knowledgeable; this table just took to the finish very well....See MoreNeed help ID-ing this red Austin.
Comments (5)not 100% sure - I can't remember if I I bought it from David austins or palatine roses ?? I thought it was from David Austin bc I had it in their signature green pots. Very sadly, I threw it out bc it stayed riddled w/fungus, always had no leaves & was a very weak grower- I'll b purchasing more David Austin roses this fall- going to buy mostly his red varieties bc they're so gorgeous & im lacking his red roses :) thanks guys!...See Morejohnmerr
