I'm not sure I understand what you are asking for. Helpmefind.com lists the blooms of Double Delight and Seduction as large (though it might depend on which Seduction you have in mind--3 different ones are listed), and M. Tillier as medium. None are considered "smaller."

In the pic of the lovely bouquet, the big difference between Seduction and M. Tillier seems to be that Seduction is fully open but M. Tillier is only beginning to open--it is still in bud form. Fully open, M. Tillier probably wouldn't look that much smaller.

Maybe if you could express what you are looking for in a different way, we could help better. Certainly there are many other roses that bloom as large as Double Delight--if that is what you want.

YOu might look into mini floras. The blooms are usually larger than a miniature, but smaller (mostly) than a hybrid tea. The plants can get 4 - 5' tall, larger if you get them on Fortuniana rootstock. Many have "exhibition form", and they can be good as cut flowers.

If I am understanding your question correctly, it appears you would be pleased with just about any of the exhibition-style miniatures or minifloras. In the show world, the winning roses all push the limits of size of the flower within each classification. 'Miniature' means smaller flower ... which can be about the size you're looking for, in the exhibition varieties. The bushes themselves can be three to four feet tall or more.

It sounds like many varieties of the floribundas or grandifloras might work for you as well as some of those classified as shrubs.

Pascali and Prominent would fill the bill for having smaller, but well-formed flowers.

I love my Jeri Jennings, yellowy & apricot, clustered on the cane and will probably make a nice size bush. Its only a year old but grew great its first year and the flowers are on the smaller side. My pink flower circus is quite lovely too with clusters of dark pink flowers that last forever. They both have lots of petals. I hope this helps a little. Judy

I think I know what you mean. I just ordered some roses from Rogue Valley that are 1" to 2" in diameter, but average sized bushes. I want to put them in my nieces' fairy garden. I got lavender/pink Excellenz von Schubert, and some other ones I cannot spell without my order in front of me :)

Try Rogue Valley Roses website, and go to thornless roses. They have a lot of neat choices and they list the bloom diameters. Also, fairy roses and Cecile Brunner are good choices, even though the bushes are a little smaller, they're not miniatures. Merry Christmas!

Miss Flippins (red) and Irresistible (white) are about 3 feet tall and 2 feet wide. They produce exhibition blooms in clusters--disbudding is often needed if you want one bloom per stem.

The original poster is in NW Mississippi and a great rose resource is just up the road, north of Memphis in Brighton TN. Whit Wells lives there. He hybridizes really wonderful roses with bloom sizes from mini, through miniflora up to Hybrid Teas.
When we visited him, I was really impressed with his huge greenhouse as well as the roses growing outdoors- just to see the sizes.
He does sell plants and you would so love to walk through his greenhouse with him and just listen to him and to appreciate the plants he makes.

Floribunda 'Rosy Future' has small high centered very fragrant blooms upon a medium sized plant ... though, does not have a high petal count.

Try Heirloom roses...they furnish bloom sizes for most of their roses as well as fragrance and they indicate (notated as CF) when the plant produces blooms that are good as CUT FLOWERS. Handy information, whether you are buying from them or not. Link listed below.

Many minis will get that size in MS. A lot of my minis (own root) are 3' - 5' tall. On Fortuniana rootstock (which you can handle in MS), they will definitely be that tall. So, I'm kinda confused when you say "not minitures" but then "tiny" blooms.

Most of the miniatures I've ever seen were on really tiny bushes, less than 2' tall. I want tiny flowers, but not tiny plants. I guess that's not clear from my title. LOL

I wasn't aware that miniature roses could grow that tall, because I've never seen them get that size.

Sometimes it's nice to have contrast in making up bouquets, and you might want to consider Darlow's Enigma. It's a large bush with sprays of small white single flowers. I find a spray of these in a vase is a nice complement to a larger HT. Not quite like adding baby's breath, but similar idea. It's nice in the garden, too, covering itself in flowers several times a season. Easy to grow in my area, don't know about yours...
