It's really great to see these photos of your family. Looks like a wonderful Christmas was had by all.

Thank you... it was a very special Christmas... we were all together, the grandkids had a ball ripping open presents... it was just very nice to be together as a family. I'm very proud of my children, now adults.

Cherish every moment with your youngsters... too soon, they're grown. The best thing is, making new memories every time you're all together!

What special memories, Jodi! You have a lovely family and beautiful grandbabies. All mine are grown, including my step-grandchildren, and don't think any of the grandchildren have their minds set on any offspring anytime soon.

Don't mean to take away from your beautiful family, but I have a pot full of those "onion" plants if anybody wants one of the babies. They produce offsets so tend to need to be thinned out. I'd be happy to trade for a little offset of something in the hippi family I don't have, or seeds for light pink hippies (I'm in love with the light pink ones.)

Jodi, your phal looks excellent. See no reason why it shouldn't bloom. It just takes awhile. Congrats on getting it to throw a spike!

Thank you, Kitty... for all my poor step-parenting skills, my kids turned out alright! :-) I'm really proud of them!

When I was young, all my friends were going off to college, choosing professions... all I ever wanted to be was a good wife and mother. I wasn't sure if I'd made the grade, but looking at my grown kids now... I think I was a success in my chosen "profession"!

I'm really psyched about that Phal spike! It's the only one that grew from where there wasn't one already started, in my care! I can't wait to see the flowers, though I know it'll be a while!

If I end up with any "pink" seeds, I'll send some out to you, Kitty!

I understand the out of focus pic, I have dozens of them, my sister camera have a function for pets and kids, it takes the pic faster, next time I buy one I will have that in mind.
The plants look great, can't wait to see the orchid in flower, you must post the pictures so we can enjoy them too.
I really don't like cold weather, but I don't now snow, may be some day I will, just for a little while.

Larissa. Your children are adorable! YOu are growing some real beauties! Gosh, and my first born turned 40 yesterday!

Larissa, you've got a fabulous family... good lookin' Husband, very pretty little girls, and all I could think of when I saw the first photo, of Kemper, was... Awwwwwww! What a cutie! And your relatives are good looking, too, even with braces! What's interesting is the choice of names... very unusual and unique! I like them all!

Well, ladies... I'd say we all "done good"! We've all got great families, even though I suspect we'd all like a trade on some days! LOL! No matter how beautiful, or how wonderful... they can sure get on your last nerve every once in a while! Anyone who thinks being a Mom and a wife is easy work, has never been one! :-)

Maria, snow is nice to see in photos, or nice for a little while... but it's so COLD! This weather gets in your bones, and you don't feel thawed out until spring! I'll be sure to post orchid photos when it finally blooms... they take a long time to bud and open.
