Than you so much for posting pictures of The Jungle! It is so much fun watching it change as different flowers bloom. The flowers are gorgeous and it must be wonderful having different varieties/colors/shapes surprising you each day/week. Thanks for sharing!

Your Supreme Garden is not a Supreme Garden, and I tried to do a search for Lovely Garden to see if maybe this is what you have.

Perhaps, others will remember what that one looks like. Whatever it is, I truly like it, and I assure you that lots of folks will want to trade.

Also, don't kill me yet, okay? One of the things that I have noted is that your blooms need more light. When mine start blooming, I move them around constantly to give them the best winter light when in bloom. I do not worry as much about the leaves getting light because I know they will get that later (outside).

Colors will vary, depending on the amount of light they receive, and so will the shape of the blooms as well as the size.

Keep in mind that my climate is much warmer than yours, but most of mine bloom on the porch or patio without the advantage of central heat. I would rather have more light than heat when they bloom.

I am so delighted with your enthusiasm and excitement.

awesome jungle Jodi!! Your Lady Jane is Stunning, and I'm thinking of a set up like yours. [can only dream of having more windows right now lol!] I read somewhere, to bring the bloomers somewhere out of direct sun, to extend the life of the bloom , maybe? Then of course, they could [and would, need a lot of light. When I do their photo shoots [ha, ha] I put them in what ever sunlight can be found.

Your garden looks fantastic! I love the cluster of Supreme Garden. I need more shelves myself but I think Chris and my roommate will kill me. I already have two shelving units and my patio is full. I am counting down the days till we move into the house. Great job!

Jodi, you keep commenting on the color and size of my blooms. Well lucky me, I don't have to deal with light problems, just throw the plants out on the patio! Elizabeth is right about color, size etc and light. I know it must be a struggle, still your Jungle is something to be proud of!

I'm pretty certain all of my Supreme Garden bulbs ARE Supreme Garden... I just got 2 large clusters of them from Royal Colors, and they look exactly like the catalog photos... In fact, each cluster of bulbs came in a different order, and both clusters were identical... I had to part out one of the clusters because there was some rot in the center bulb... so, it was separated and planted in 3 different pots... I think maybe my camera doesn't pick up the true color of the blooms, and that's why it might look like another variety... unless... Royal Colors is selling something other than Supreme Garden, and calling it that anyway... I certainly hope it's Supreme Garden!

As far the lighting... the whole jungle is bathed in sunlight from the time the sun rises, until it passes over the house... and then grow lights on timers automatically switch on and run... Larry has them set for an eighteen hour cycle, I believe... the lights aren't visible in the pictures, so it appears that they only get dim window light... I try to provide all of my plants with adequate lighting... things have gotten a lot better since I bought my first bulbs!

I know my bulbs would be much happier if they could live outdoors, and the size and color would be better, but I'm stuck with indoor growing during the colder months... I move the pots around frequently, depending on who needs the most sunshine at the moment... growing indoors is a constant battle against certain things, but once spring gets here, the bulbs will go out to the garden for some rest and recuperation... by the time they come back indoors, they should all be fat and happy!

Unfortunately Jodi, I have to agree, your red "garden" amaryllis is Lovely Garden. Supreme Garden is Orange with a heart. You can look them up on royalcolors.com. Maybe your next Supreme Garden will be real Supreme Garden. I just asked them to send me Lovely Garden (the red). The klister is sitting pretty in my fridge. No scapes yet, so it can wait till the scaped out bulbs get planted.
Your Sweet Lilian is shooting up nicely, but my Vesuvius is just sitting in the pot, just as yours does... I am hoping that it will bring me better flowers next year. I have a strange feeling that we should only buy South African varieties during September and October. They need to be planted quick, then they flower like a dream. At least your Joker and Baby Doll are doing well. My South African bulbs are not doing anything. Just sitting there and shrivelling up their scapes. So I have a nice Summer for them outside, then I will see how well they recover.

Well... now I AM confused... Royal Colors' photo of what they call Supreme Garden is identical to mine... both of my clusters... do they have it wrong on the website? I've searched and I can't find Lovely Garden anywhere on their website, or anywhere else, for that matter!

Regardless of what it's called, it's a wonderful bloomer! Some of the bulbs are blooming 3 scapes at one time! I'm very impressed with its performance so far! What I can't figure out is why a company that only sells one plant type would have a variety mis-named...

Soultan, I hope you will be as impressed by Sweet Lilian as I was! The flowers are beautiful and plentiful, and after blooming, the leaves are nice and uniform... I may get another Sweet Lilian next year, if the local garden center carries it again!

Baby Doll is a lovely little white flower, and Joker is quite colorful and pretty... Vesuvius just isn't doing what it should, but I think after a summer outdoors, it will be rested and healthy once more... next year it should be fine.

The Lovely Garden/ Supreme Garden thing really has me kind of confused... I've never heard of Lovely Garden, and it never dawned on me that the photo on Royal Colors' site was different than the photo on Brent & Becky's site... the color looks similar, but Brent & Becky's does have the center star...

You were correct, Elizabeth! I was wrong! I AM wondering why there's no information available anywhere regarding Lovely Garden, though... that's kind of weird, don't you think?!

I don't think that Royal Colors' Supreme Garden picture and your red amaryllis look identical. Look closer. Supreme garden is orange with a white heart. I believe Maria will be able to show you some close-up pictures on it. She got Supreme Garden last year when she ordered Lovely Garden. Isn't it a trip? :o)
They are also selling Supreme Gardens in Europe, but they sell them as one single larger bulb planted already... I will follow their development and see if these bulbs will develop into klisters during the year.

Well, dip me in feathers and call me Birdie! You are correct! It's difficult to see when you have eyes like mine; old and in need of good bifocals!

Royal Colors DOES have the correct photo up! Wow... everyone must think I'm a real ditz! It's the blonde dye, I tell ya! It's begun to sink into my brain! Not until I finally used the zoom feature on Royal Colors' site did I finally see the centers of the flowers pictured! Doh! Don't I feel silly!!

Ok... just to clarify everything... I have one divided cluster of Lovely Garden... and the second cluster, which is intact and budding as we speak, is unknown at this time. When it does open it's blooms, I will post pictures.

Wouldn't it be awesome if the second cluster turned out to be Supreme Garden? Then I will have both varieties! Oh yeah, Soultan already said that...
