Lynchburg's Old City Cemetery

My husband and I spent Sunday afternoon in Lynchburg, Va., at the Old City Cemetery. The weather was glorious -- 70 degrees with bright sunshine. I convinced him to come along with me to see some full-size versions of some of the antique roses I grow, and some I'm thinking about. The roses were definitely on the wane -- with winter coming, and all. However, some of them still had blooms, and I managed to rustle some pretty nice photographs, with the harsh winter sun. Enjoy!

I plan to go back in the spring for their open garden day. I'm going to keep an eye on the cemetery web site to see when they post their calendar for 2008.
