Where to buy creeping phlox?

Okay, I really AM clueless about this: I've only been gardening for a couple years now, and I've had more misses than hits, if you know what I mean. One of the problems I have is that I research and research to find what seems like the perfect plant, then I go out to find it--and I can't find it anywhere.

This time it's phlox. I went online to Classy Groundcovers and selected all the options for the spot where I want a groundcover and basically the best thing for my situation would be either phlox stolonifera or phlox subulata. I tried 2 Home Depots and 1 Lowes and they didn't have it. (Couldn't even help me find it--great customer service.)

I thought phlox was a pretty basic plant--but am I looking at the wrong time of year or something? I'm trying to do all my planting now in this nice weather since I don't handle heat or mosquitos well.

Thanks!
