Probably not. If I remember correctly, it was a new offering this year.

I have two of them--wonderful but small cuties. Can't wait to see how much they grow and bloom next year.

Meant to ask a question about this roses color. How does it compare to 'Molineux'? For me 'Molineux' is a very pale, creamy, subtle light, light creamy color. It is not buttery or rich at all. I still love it but would not say it was yellow which is what I anticipated when I bought it. Is 'Jeri Jennigs' warmer in color in your experience? I see the photos of course but that isn't the best measure of a roses color I've learned.

Kate -- In my experience, the color is quite mutable. I think that's one of its strong points. (But one woman's ceiling IS another's floor.)
It opens a strong yellow, and fades to a pale creamy shade, so that a spray of many blooms shows different shades all at once. (It makes me think of Black Hills Gold.)
I've found that it also has a really long vase life, and that the fragrance holds well.

I have a plant that is close on a year old now. I would not call it mature, but it is starting to show a graceful, arching habit. It is VERY resistant to rust and mildew, and the foliage is a rich dark green in my alkaline conditions. It is presently perhaps 3.5 ft. tall, and 4.5 ft across, and it is setting buds for a nice fall flush.

Since my Molineux varies a lot--one day creamy, another day with apricot hues, another with yellow, and sometimes a mix of all of those--I would say Jeri Jennings is very similar in coloring. Of course, the size/shape of the blooms/bush are very different. I can't wait to see it smothered in blooms of all shades--as in the HMF pics.

A very dear friend picked one up for me...letting it mature a little bit before mailing it to me. She said it is a gorgeous little bush. I imagine it will grow big and strong here in North Florida for me.

The colors are wonderful looking, I hear they have a strong scent...I can't wait to smell it.

To answer your question re how these 2 compare, Jeri has 2 inch blossoms, starting bright yellow and cooling to a creamy shade as it matures and the plant appears to be growing at a fast rate, telling me she will not be compact, but more arching and graceful. Molineux was 4 ft. tops and maybe 3 ft wide. Its blooms were about 3 inches. Totally different except for the color yellow. And Molineux can show various shades depending on the season. I recall it being more apricot in fall.
