Fall sale at High Country Roses

HCR is now having their annual fall sale, with some very attractive prices.

HCR is now located in Denver and has a new and improved website, with very good pictures of each variety.

It is too late for me to think of ordering bands, but rose growers in Zone 6 and warmer might want to check out this sale. HCR sends out large, healthy bare rooted plants. I consider their bare roots to be best in the business, along with those from Northland Rosarium.

I don't see any "sale prices", everything seems to be at their regular price, 14.95 or 16.95...??

Great tip! Just a heads up on La Ville de Bruxelles. High Country's La Ville looks like the false La Ville that Heirloom has sold for years. So, if any one wants the real deal, elsewhere might be a good place to look. High Country carries a lot of wonderful species roses as well as OGRs and hardy moderns. Carol

This was a Xmas present last year and I finally used it when they had their fall sale. It was a tremendous buy ... 6 roses for $75 INCLUDING shipping cross-country! Of course, for me it was free, but just sayin'; this is a GREAT deal! When ordering their sale roses I was still able to specify spring shipping which really helped as I worried about overwintering them. DH asked if I didn't have enough roses this year, so I might not be getting one. : ( (That's a very sad face as a couple I didn't order because I had rooted cuttings didn't make it in the end.)
