I've had experience with a few of your choices.
Last year my better half ordered Irish Fireflame. He's half Irish and thought that was cute. Early last month it bloomed for the first time. White bloom touch of blush in the center...hhhhmmmm. Called Rogue. They expect that it was Isabella Sprunt. At that time they didnt have any Irish Fireflame so they credited my credit card.
Cl. Lady Hillingdon I have planted against a 7' solid wood fence. It faces west. Been there for a year and a few months. Oh my. Such a feminine rose. Last winter I covered it with hay. Not sure what I will do this year. Right now it is about 3' tall by 3' across. The picture of health and it blooms continually. By continually I mean that after the spring flush it always has between 3 and 6 blooms on it. They nod...so sweet. The stems are a deep red with dark green leaves. But I'm sure you know that already.
Gruss an Coburn... wonderful. Planted it this year (early spring) it's rather vigerous. I have it in my cut garden in full sun. This summer we had little to no heat as I'm sure you know. (Last year was something else.) So the bloom color did not fade rapidly. If we had had a warmer summer I'm sure that during July and August I'd not have been so enamorated with the blooms.
I dont have any of the other blooms that you list but I did look them up at Help me find. They should be stunning all together. Hope you find some of this information helpful. I am located at the very bottom of S. Puget Sound.

I have the climbing version of 'Kaiserin Auguste Viktoria'. Better than average disease resistance, a beautiful and fragrant flower, very good rebloom, but not so vigorous as I would like.

I have an old old plant of Sutter's Gold. It is gorgeous, and reasonably healthy. It is in a huge pot on the patio, rescued and moved there from a dark "forest" part of the garden, where it lived for at least 20 years without blooming, but it survived. Now that it is in the sun it blooms fine. My only complaint is that the flowers do not last very long - from bud to blown in 1-2 days in our hot sunny weather.

I grow two of those roses, but please be aware that the South Bay region of the San Francisco area is quite different from the PNW. We share dry summers, but everything else is different.

Sutters Gold is very healthy here. I've grown a grafted plant in a pot for about ten years on my back patio, in a cluster with Whisky Mac and Lemon Spice. All three do well for me there.

About a year ago I planted Cl Lady Hillingdon. This rose is almost as famous for its good health as it is for its beauty. Imagine my surprise this spring when my young plant came down with powdery mildew, blackspot, and some third disease. It may have been rust -- I'm not sure I remember accurately. I was appalled. I did not spray it. Generally I spray my roses once a year when I do the winter clean up and that is it. It has lived up to its reputation and all by itself thrown off all sign of disease and now has clean leaves. Go figure.

'Irene Churruca' is a rose I still remember from a GORGEOUS photo posted a year or two ago by Luanne. I haven't seen posts by her lately, but she is still listed on the Members Pages - I clicked on her page, and 'Irene' is still on her plant list. I'm sure you remember Luanne, because I remember your own posts (in your Southern incarnation) from those days - perhaps you could email her and ask about this rose. It looked heavenly to me, and apparently it's very fragrant as well.
I think your idea of an apricot and cream space is wonderful.

Organic-tosca, it is Luanne's postings and pictures of that rose that hooked me. It is a pretty thing! also I wanted to tell you I have a Betty growing now here because of your love for that rose. It has bloomed just once, which I pinched off, but at least it gave me a glimpe of it. Thank you.

hoovb, I think I am going to love KAV. Thanks for going to the trouble to spell out the rose name properly; I get lazy. it's in my ghetto and hasn't bloomed, but I'm pre disposed to love it because it's white. I just hope the blooms don't turn to dirty tissue and cling.

Jacqueline, I only saw 15 minutes of hot sunny weather this summer (okay, I exaggerated, but only a little!). I've read how fragrant those blooms are, so I am very excited to see this rose bloom. Thank you.

I wonder if Rogue Valley made a mistake in telling you that the white rose with a pink center is Isabella Sprunt, though, even if Isabella might come after Irish Fireflame, alphabetically. Isabella is a yellow sport of Safrano, the tea rose. But anyway...

Does anyone grow the white Sparrieshoop? I'm wondering how large it might get up here. I need a cream or white that will stay 5 feet or less...

Harborrose, THANK YOU for telling me that you got 'Betty'!! It made my day! I hope you will love her as I do. Mine is not looking her best right now - like my other roses, she is feeling the heat, also maybe the crazy yo-yo summer we've been having.
Did you look her up on HMF and read what Billy Teabag had to say about her, under "comments"? I so enjoyed that. Good luck with 'Betty' and with all your other roses - I hope Luanne realizes what an enabler she is!

Yes, I read as much about Betty as I could before I ordered it. That is an interesting exchange on hmf with B. Teabag.

I am also sorry to say that I changed my mind on the Irene C and IF- I asked Gregg at Vintage for his thoughts on those roses up here, and he said Irene does bs here and that IF will also in long periods of wet and chill.

And Anita on HMF says that White Sparriehoop sports to pink in the cemetery, so I'll probably not order that one either.

But I'm making progress deciding. Thank you.

I almost ordered Gruss An Coburg earlier this year and changed my mind because of the bs I'd read about. I think both it and the Sutter's Gold will be susceptible to bs because of their lineages. But they're both really fragrant so I'm wanting to try them, anyway. Maybe - I haven't decided.

When I lived in the south, I stayed away from things I knew would have bs problems - up here, I really wonder how the cooler temperatures will affect bs development. I've had almost none develop in this garden; first year, though, so I don't know.

Jeannie at least says the GAC is vigorous, so maybe it will just shake it off. It's a "geronimo" thing, I guess.
