Towandazz - Thank you. That's great to know. I do need apricot roses. Moses - I totally agree with you about DCT's color habit. I googled lots of pictures and found that the only stage I like is before fully open when the blooms are yellow with delicate pink edge. They become unattractive to me once turning into mostly pink. Karen - The spot where I planted Fragrant Cloud receives full sun exposure. So FC just melted in summer sun. Not only the flowers wilted, but also the foliage looked unhealthy. The spring flush was good, but the blooms didn't last long on bush or in vase. Maybe it's just an inferior plant since I got it from Homedepot. How is your FC? Does it handle our 9B heat well? If so then I might consider to buy one from Regan. I really miss its fragrance. One of the best in all my roses. Better than Double Delight. Sheila's perfume has been on my wish list for a long time. I hold off buying it because of mixed reviews about its heat tolerance on HMF. Someone said it does well in 110F, while others complained blooms frying in 90+ or losing petals in heat. How is your sheila's perfume in the heat? How long do the blooms stay on the bush? Thank you.

Which DD is it? I have found 3 different ones online so I can't research it. There is a Decatur, Siloam and Laura's DD. What color is it, is it a repeat bloom?

The whole plant, it’s about 6-1/2’ now. I’m sure it’s on Dr. Huey, all the other roses I inherited with this house are. Some leaves have green blotches. The underside is clean, except for the aphid I squished. The leaves feel like the other leaves, but sort of waxy.
