bought clearance roses , but too hot to plant. now what?

I just picked up 3 potted Carefree Beauties for $5 each. Our growers' outlet had tons of them sitting near the dumpster, so I brought them home, but it's way too hot to plant them now. It was 103 degrees today. Can I leave them in these cheap, flimsy nursery buckets for another month, in this heat, and then put them in the ground in late September? Or should I go out and buy new pots, potting soil, etc, and re-pot them for a month, and then put them in the ground in late Sept?

They are not in the best of shape, but they each have lots of green branches, a good amount of leaves, and even some new growth, so with a lot of TLC, I think they'll bounce back. I've read that Carefree beauty is pretty hardy, right?

When I got them home, I put them in a semi-shady area and watered them well.

Any advice? Carefree Beauty is a rose I've been wanting for a while and I long ago busted my roses budget, so this was a deal I couldn't resist.

Thanks.

Hope
