How to spread RRD inside a rose bed quickly

A comment in the thread by Brooks inspired this. Also something that I saw last summer that answered a question.

Take a bed of roses, with one or two plants with RRD that either hasn't been diagnosed as a problem or (OR) that the landscapers are trying to ignore problems. Roses where the vector mites are happy, reproducing and not prone to leave the original plants.

Now add a mow and blow service. Mow and blow means they mow whatever they can. Then they blow not just where they've mowed, but anywhere they think blowing is needed. (Even where, shudder, they have used hedge trimmers to shear off the tops of roses).

Where this matters is that blowers seem to me to be an ideal way to disperse the vector mites that spread RRD.

Fast dispersal inside a mass rose planting- easily done, given vector mites that are air dispersed and a few guys with blowers.

Along the side of a rose bed to blow mulch back on the roses? Quick removal of clippings?

Mow and blow could be a real disaster.
