Question about Peggy Martin

I heard so much about this 'Katrina Survivor Rose' that I ordered a small ownroot one from Chamblees this spring. It has quickly climbed about 5' up one of my arbors and is still going strong. It hasn't had a significant bloom yet, although there was one small cluster of its double pink and white blooms at the very base. It is almost thornless and definitely a rambler I would say - not a climber. Does any one know the parentage of this rose? I'd love to find out more about it. I suspect it is some kind of an old garden rose that has been around for some time. A gardener friend from the nearby town of Omena said "We have a number of those thornless pink climbers in my town - we call them the Omena Rose. I'm sure this rose must have a number of 'given' names!
