Had the camera but no memory stick

and I went rose rustling yesterday. Gravestone said "Little Billy" died 1912 if memory is correct. Bush was almost 6 ft tall; no noticable suckering; extremely dense; dark purple blooms about 2 inches across. Very, Very Double and dark purple with a fragrance to die for. One bloom promptly dried out but was still extremely fragrant. I believe it to be a Portland by the leaves; somewhat rounded and slightly fuzzy; with what looked like the typical "crud" on some of the leaves from lack of overhead watering. Lots of new growth though. I will at least take pictures of the leaves, stems, etc and hope HE can slip back in and get a photo of the blooms. Old hips contained no seeds.

Anyone have any suggestions to help me narrow down my search for a name.

I agree with choosing SD over the other choices. However, I would counter the recommendation of going for one big memory card. Many people I know with digital cameras tend to leave the pictures on the card for a long time. If anything happens to that card (it gets lost, it gets corrupted and files are damaged, etc.), you stand to lose a lot more than if you had all those pictures on two 512 MB cards. And if that's the card you tote around with you and something happens to it, you may end up buying another card just to have some "film" to use. Just something to consider before you put a lot of your memories on one piece of silicon.

Yep, all I do is pop it in and go but let me warn you, I have an Olympus camera that will not take anything larger than a 512mb card so make certain *before* you get to the wedding that A) it is the correct type of card for your camera B) that your camera will accept the 2G size. But over and above everything else, have a great time at the wedding (which of course would be difficult if your camera won't take pictures.) Jodi-

It's like film, only for digital cameras. A genuine memory stick (as opposed to a flash card, SD card, etc.) is used in Sony cameras. JoanMN/FL

SOLUTION: Hi I have a PSC-P52. My camera dropped and then it gave the C:13:01 error. I turn off the camera, take off the memory stick and the batteries. Using a card reader I recovered the pics on a pc (so the memory was working right) Then I put the lock option on the memory stick and that's all! The memory stick was read on the camera and then i turned off the camara and set off the lock option. Francisco.

Have you asked Cheryl Netter if anyone else has "done" that cemetery?
I have a hazy memory that someone did, and if I'm right, they may know if that rose has been ID'd.

Jeri - just checked this morning. Little Billie has rooted - nice roots comming out of a gallon pot and sending up basal shoots - YIPIEE. I was afraid I might have lost my rooting "touch" since the climate here is so different.

Florence, I so missed making baby roses. rooting them had become as much fun as growing them. This is the first cutting I tried here and I stuck about 4 in one pot - only one has rooted but it is quite a large cutting. I was thrilled.
