Overseeded front yard progress pictures

I'm in Raleigh, NC and I took my first whack at overseeding my small fescue lawn (mostly weeds) this past fall. I used a broad leaf weed killer in mid september. Aerated with a core aerator in early October. Applied Lime starter fertlizer and Pennington Fescue mix from a big box store. I watered every day for the first three weeks. I also planted a small redbud tree in the yard during the process. Around these parts the local university (NC State) recommends the last fall fertilization (high N) around thanksgiving just before the grass stops growing so I will give it one last shot of nitrogen in two weeks. I am happy with the results, but I wish I could keep it looking like this in the middle of summer when the lawn is being baked in 95 degree heat and direct sun!
