I am embarking myself in the project of making a small 6 square feet 3 to 4 feet tall greenhouse. I think I have most things figured out. I think. I am starting small so problems don't turn into nightmares. But I have not been able to find a place where I can buy a small cooling pad. For the size of greenhouse I think I only need a third of a square foot. It may be more practical to go a bit bigger. And extra backup pad would be a good thing. So I'm probably looking for 2 or 3 square feet of cooling pad. And I just can't find anyone that would sell so little. I am to the point that I am considering taking a bunch of cardboard boxes I have in the garage cutting them into slits and gluing them together. Although from the looks of what I see on the internet the groves (holes) look much bigger than the ones on the cardboard. So I suppose it could create a difference in pressure. And maybe It should be thinner...... Ughh If anybody knows where to buy a small cooling pad or has an extra one that they would sell, any information will b greatly appreciated. I had success finding the heater! The ebay seller listed it again after it didn't sell and agreed to change it to a Buy It Now auction so I could buy it right away. Even with the big shipping cost of about $28 US dollars, it still cost $12 less than at that Harris Seeds website(That one is out of stock for the season.) And that $52 for the US one is before the shipping costs. So I figured I saved around $22 overall getting it from the ebay seller. I piled 16 grainbags of leaves today around my greenhouse and will know in the morning if that helped keep heat in there. In the mornings it has been just as cold inside the greenhouse with no heater as the air is outside. Joanie D.

With help & experience of my fellow GW friends, I have ruled out 2 of my three choices above. I am now thinking about either getting the SpringHouse model or one of the small PlantHouse, StarterHouse, SeedHouse or Plant Tower models on This Page. I would so so much rather have the SpringHouse & it appears to have great reviews compared to what were my other two choices above. No one on here, so far, has said anything bad about their experiences with it. It appears to be better constructed than the "First Choice" & "Yet Another Choice" linked ones above in my original post. So, please let me know your final opinions on my newest choices. =) Keeping in mind, I not only want it for the early season seed starting (which is about all i'd be able to do in the smaller ones), but also for Winter tropicals storage, non-hardy plant storage & kind of a workshop of sorts for propagation, etc.. LilBit, thank you for taking photos. Definitely looks like your enjoying it, so many happy plants. Must be nice to be able to walk in and be surrounded by your favorite plants. LOVE the hanging basket and it's hummingbird holder, looks like it wants to dive in, lol. Fred, thanks for taking more photos, it looks very calming and relaxing. I never was a fan of sansevieria, but seeing them outdoors instead of in an office looks more natural. Really like the bench with built in screens... very nice, looks efficient. Good to know that both can work with a bit of reinforcement.
