Looks like the first one is a regular rose and the other two look like they may be miniature rose buses. I would just let them go and do whatever that want to do this year. You would at least know what it does, like climb or not then next year you can prune them back and place them where you like. Bonne chance chere. Ton ami, T

The bottom rose looks like it might have spider mites.
Take a look at the backs of the leaves. See if it looks like there is a sort of grainy or gritty or dusty look to them. If so, that's mites.
If that's the case, wash the leaves -- PARTICULARLY the underside of the leaves -- with a strong blast from a hose. Do this every other day or so for a few days, and the problem should come under control.
I'm not sure what sort of rose it is, but at least getting it healthy would be a good start.

If the last one does not spread its canes for much over 6 feet long it could be a rambling type rose. It could also be a ground cover type rose. Some of those ground cover type roses even creep along and where ever the ends of their canes touch soil, they root. If that happens simply cut the cane, and you will have just allowed the new rooting to become another independant rose plant.

As far as the sunscald advice goes, simply move the rose to the east side of a tall enough structure so that the rose receives morning sun and afternoon shade. Also remove the affected leaves, and discard them in the trash. Then clean the pruning tools in a manner that decontaminates them just in case it is some form of contageous disease.

To go even further, you could treat the leaves and stems remaining on the plant with anti-fungal and anti-pest sprays and powders. Repeat that treatment as directed, until the rose begins producing new leaves which remain healthy looking.

If your climate has been very humid this year, it would not hurt to treat all your roses as just described.

Also when watering, avoid letting the leaves get wet. In morning dew on the leaves situations, monitor them to be sure the leaves dry by at least if not before midday. If not, move them to an area where they will receive more air circulation.

Every thing you discover that works for your roses while they are potted should help you determine where they will prosper best after being planted.

Yes, the dull look and curling could suggest spider mites. The brown tips could be fertilizer burn or something along that line.

#1 is one of the standard types of modern roses. The long cane without a bud on it suggests it might be a climber. It won't be able to do its thing in a little pot. True climbers once established make shoots 8' and longer. They give heavy bloom in spring and then moderate repeat.

#2 the mall rose is likely to be one of the standard landscape shrub roses. These usually grow to good size.

#3 has non-modern foliage with 7-leaflet leaves. This is likely to be a once-bloomer (June bloomer) and possibly a vigorous rambler.

Y'all are so great! Thanks for all the info! I took a look at the leaves of the bottom rose and sure enough, there was the dust and grit... I think I even saw one of the little fellas causing the issue... We sprayed it down this evening. Thank you again...

Spider mites love hot, humid, but rainless weather. There are other critters that will eat them, but when the weather conditions are right, the spider mites will outnumber the predators and damage the leaves. They eat by sucking out the contents of the leaves' cells. That's why on the top of the leaf you see that pale stippling instead of a solidly green leaf. The pale spots are what's left after they've fed. The cell walls are still there, but the internal contents of the leaf cell are gone.
