any suggestions for good companion vine for climbing iceberg?

Hi!

I need your help on finding good companion vine for my climbing iceberg.

Here is the background/story...

My iceberg is planted in my front yard, south facing - it gets full sun in the morning, but very minimum sun in afternoon due to the big fir tree in front of our house...

It has been 2 years since I planted them, it blooms nicely, but gets black spots, and looks somewhat leggy after it bloomed in June (please see pic below).

I thought it might help to cover the not-so-beautiful part of my iceberg with another vine. Would love to have flowering vine if it's possible. Any suggestion?

Or it's not recommended because their leaves won't get any better sun than now??

I thought about Clematis viticella Kermesina, or any pink/red flowering vine.

Not sure if I should plant one more climbing rose with it due to the lack of afternoon sun in this location.

Any suggestions will be very appreciated!

Thanks!
