Help with Mme Berkeley look alike

I have the real Mme. Berkeley which I started from a friend's plant. It has no thorns on the stems, only under the leaves. Then I bought and planted what was supposed to be Mme. Joseph Schultz. It looks like Mme. Berkeley, grows even more vigorously in a low, spreading fashion and it seems to be the same rose but it has thorns. I'll need to get some pictures taken this weekend. Just wondering if any of you tea experts out there would know what rose is that close to Mme. Berkeley or are there two types? It sure does not look like what I expected it to.
