Hosing with water and deck bearing lubrication

I have a 2 year old DYT4000 in which I routinely pressure wash the underside and top of my deck with a garden hose. I recently have noticed a "whine" after I engage the deck blades. I hear the whine through my ear protection but not with it off as the engine drowns out the whine. It sounds like a dry bearing. (my best guess)

Question: Can cleaning the deck with a hose possibly cause a loss of bearing lubrication?
