bee sting treatment! rose related... kinda

mexicanhat

I was out pruning off spent blooms when a bee ended up in my sandal and stung my foot. This was two days ago. I removed the stinger and took Benadryl at the time, because I usually swell up and react to bee stings at the sting site. Today the site is stinging and itching soooooooooo bad (this is normal for me), it's driving me crazzzzzy. Is there anything that would make it stop killing me? I tried Benadryl topical and calamine (the Aveno version). Ice didn't help.

Don't really want to take more Benadryl tablets because those knocked me out for several hours.

HELP!!!
