Soil for my new 25 gallon containers

I recently started a thread about a portion of my front yard being filled with Monterrey Cypress roots. The work-around I decided on was to place 25 gallon squat pots on bricks and grow roses in those.

Yesterday I purchased my first two pots and am ready to go buy soil. I have a limited budget and was hoping to not have to mix my own blend. Patio Plus organic potting soil is readily available at Lowe's and Home Depot

The ingredients are listed as: forest products, canadian peat moss, composted chicken manure, rice hulls, horticultural sand, perlite, bat guano, kelp meal & worm castings. I've used this soil for years to grow bands into larger plants so I'm hoping to be able to use it in the containers as well.

I'd plan on a top dressing of chicken manure and alfalfa meal as well. How does this sound to everyone?
