Viburnum burkwoodii getting some dark, curling leaves. Why?

I have a Viburnum burkwoodii (Burkwood Viburnum, thatÂs about eight feet tall that I just planted about three weeks ago. It seems to be doing okay, but I just noticed that a number of the leaves have turned dark/blackish/purplish and dry and curled up. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to it -- i.e. one branch might have ten fine green leaves, then a black one, then ten more green ones. There was nothing inside the curled-up leaves that I could see. None of my other Viburnums has this problem. Any help identifying this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. -- Lori
