Heirloom rose order question

I ordered a Gold Badge climbing Rose from Heirloom roses and that was Monday. Never got a conformation for the order yet. Does it take that long to get a conformation from them.. Do they ship the rose right away??

I placed an order with Heirloom yesterday and recieved a confirmation e-mail within minutes of placing my order. This was an order confirmation, not a shipping confirmation. In the email, it stated;

Thank you for your online order! This email is an automatic response to the
order that you've just placed.
Once your order is confirmed by our staff, you will receive an updated
confirmation with the expected shipping date information. For your
reference, the order you've placed is detailed below.

ITEMS ORDERED:
FL498 JULIA CHILDT PPAF
LC717 DUBLIN BAYÂ®

So they should be sending out another email confirmation when the roses are shipped.

If you haven't gotten any response since placing your order on Monday, then I would definately call them.

On thier site they have posted a note they are only shipping to zones 8 through 10 at this time. This is a bit late, as I live in zone 7 and they have mailed to me as early as early April, but this has been a strange year weather wise. They are a wonderful site to order from and if you give them a call I'm sure they will happily give you a guess as to when. It's finally warming up here in 7b so it shouldn't be much longer.

Don't fret, Lilyfinch, I'm sure your roses will be fine! There's no use worrying about whether they'll survive the winter, worrying won't help anything. You already placed the order and they are probably on their way, so all that's left to do is be happy that your little roses are coming!! I guess I'm in the same boat as you because my Heirloom rose arrived today! And I'm in zone 5! I was beginning to regret my decision to order such a small rose this late in the season soon after I ordered, but now that it's here I am nothing but optimistic that it will survive. It's so cute and looks healthy. We need to get them acclimated to the outdoors quickly (shouldn't be hard with so many nice warm weeks of summer left), and with a pile of leaves to insulate them over the winter I think we will be enjoying our roses come spring :)

I plan to use Heirloom for hard to find roses that are unavailable elsewhere. If they continue their present course of offering mostly recent and well known varieties, they may indeed price themselves out of business. However, for East Coast customers, the price, which includes shipping, is not significantly more than one would pay for any other West Coast nursery.

When ordering from Heirloom Roses i need help wit the ordering process

Well it says to pick from options of container size either 1 gal pot, or 4"x4" banded pot...and then you have to pick from another option drop down menu that says to pick either tag +$5.00 or stake +$15.00 or none $0.00. And I feel like if I have to add $15 for stake, that must mean something good? But I couldn't figure out what the difference was?

Same here. For them not to be responsive and organized is the exception and not the rule in my experience.

Well they emailed back with the answer to my question. The order was placed and should be getting it by this Friday at the latest. SPAM on my email rejected the conformation I guess as the customer service rep said this happens from time to time..
