Martha Washington rose - Jeri, et al

jean

I have taken a stack of cuttings from Martha Washington and would like to send some out and about to the heritage folks. This is the rose that my Dad's family has carted around for over 150 years and originated in the Carolinas. They have always called it the Martha Washington rose. I suspect a noisette hybrid here. However, id'ing the ancestry of roses has never been my strong suit (see, however, the JB post for detailed instructions on how to kill them at which I have some skill).

I was thinking that perhaps some of you out west with a strong interest in heritage roses might want some cuttings. If you will drop me a line, I will send them on ASAP.
