I had Chrysler Imperial, and here in my climate it was a mildew magnet, and got other diseases all the time too. I finally had to get rid of it, as not willing to spray it all the time. No idea about the other one.
There's Chrysler Imperial the Hybrid Tea bush and Chrysler Imperial the climber. As I remember it, if a HT (or other established "bush" type rose) starts throwing long canes as a mutation, they can often take that strain and establish it as a climbing rose. BUT, the climbing version in many cases is not as floriferous as the bush type. Which explains the difference in the American Rose Society ratings. Chrysler Imperial the bush is rated 7.8 ("a solid to very good rose") while the climbing C.I. is only rated 7.0 ("average"). Personally, I'd stick with a rose that was bred as a climber.....Maryl
