As usual, you have a beautiful garden. Your post says what I was trying to say in a recent post about shades of pink. My wife says many look the same, but I think they are all different.

Thanks for sharing your pictures and giving such great examples of the variety that pink roses have to offer.

I love pinks that are multi-faceted and your photos have been a breath of fresh air, this morning. Pink roses can be so pretty and yours certainly are, Ingrid. Photos 1,3,4,10,11 and 15 are especially enticing to me. What is the rose in pic 3?

I never get tired of looking at pink roses. And yes, they are all differnt in the shades of pink, the form, texture, color of the canes, stamens etc.

Forgot to say thanks for posting the pictures of Sister Elizabeth.

I have a baby Sister Elizabeth that has yet to bloom. Can hardly wait to see those peony like blossoms on my plant.

I hope Sister Elizabeth does well for you. I had to move it from a very hot, sunny spot to one that has afternoon shade and it looks much more beautiful now, and the blooms last longer.

Sherry, these roses are absolutely luscious! You're right, we could go on and on since pink is one of the most common colors in the old roses. Nothing common about their beauty though!

Ya know, when I first got Mary Guthrie her hot pink color was a little shocking and too modern. Now I think it's perfectly fine, and as to modern she's almost next to Hermosa from 1840, so she fits right in.

I love your Sister Elizabeth. Your Climbing Pinkie surprised me since I have one, too. I'm trying to get it to go UP not out, but I see that's how yours wants to go, too.

Aimee, what a gorgeous collection. I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite from that lineup of beauties. Madame Alfred Carriere struck me as being especially delicate and lovely.
Madame Joseph Bonnaire is new to me, will have to look her up. I also have La France, a small band that has so far yielded one gorgeous flower. I can't wait for it to grow and bloom.

Buford, seeing your flower of Mlle Franziska Kruger made me go out last evening and dig mine up. She is always and only all quilled up with veggie centers. I was over it.

Aimee, you have so many beautiful pinks. I have yet to see a flower on Madame Joseph Bonnaire, but she is growing. I have drooled over Pomponella before. I wish she were in my garden.
