Thank you Rick. Thank you all! Heather, I just dropped little bit of the 10-10-10 about couple weeks ago. I got a 1 year old and it's smaller than this 6-month old. I planted more than 20 seeds last November and got only one survived. That was my first time doing seedlings. Brian, I will definitely let you see when the buds blooming. I got these seeds from a friend of mine in Taiwan and don't know the varieties. My white DR that I got from Walmart a year ago had seed pots in March. It's blooming again now. The picture was 2 days ago. I planted all of the seeds on 8/25. 98% of them germinated which I did not expect. I just repoted them last night. I am hoping they will get bigger before the cold weather coming. It's still 80F+ during the day here. I have started thinking what I am going to do in the cold weeks with these about 100 seedlings. Hi Marg, If your sunroom is heated, I would put them there. I would also cut the scapes off to conserve their energy until they are bigger and can go back outside. Sounds like they are determined to grow, they might as well be comfy! Kim

I'd remove that red mulch in a heartbeat. Wait to summer's over and give it a real grandulated fertilizer. To me, the spikes just don't give a young growing tree what it needs. Also, are you planning on walking around this tree. I can tell you, mine has a 25' spread. You need to "limb it up" now when the lower limbs are still little. At least 4 feet. And don't forget the saying - buy 3 rakes. One for you and the other two for your neighbors. They throw down a lot of leaves! and this time of year, I'm raking up the old flower pods. Two garbage cans full this week........cheryl

I agree that the problem is that you transplanted too early. Tomatoes are tropical plants. I actually had one seedling that did the same thing this year! It wasn't dying, but it just wouldn't grow. It was given to me by a friend several weeks before I planted outside and it got dry a few times. It is growing now but I don't very much expect it to recover all that well. Tomatoes aren't very resilient in my experience. I have heavy clay soil down here and it is really fertile stuff - I had a tomato plant that nearly ate Dallas a few years ago! (you know, the kind that has you looking for unlocked cars in the parking lot at work so you can unload tomatoes onto unsuspecting coworkers!). I wouldn't use fertilizer myself, but it sounds to me like you may be way over-fertilizing them. The best thing you can do is amend the soil with compost. Even side-dressing with compost or watering with compost tea (compost mixed into a bucket of water and allowed to sit for a couple of days), tomatoes love that.
